Summer ministries among the Northern Cheyenne and Lakota fueled a desire in my heart to pursue a way to share life with a First Nations community long-term. After gaining more missions experience, I yearned to be able to do more to meet emotional and physical needs in addition to spiritual needs. I decided to go back to school and earned my Master’s degree in Social Work and Christian Leadership.
I moved to Mt. Currie, BC in July 2016. My time here is spent volunteering in the reserve school, building relationships with youth, and sharing the Gospel by sharing life. My prayer is to offer hope and provide a safe space for difficult conversations.
