Byron and Diane have served in the urban ministry in Vancouver since 1979. They are involved in leading an inner city, multicultural church, with a majority of First Nations people. They also founded the SAY YES! After School Tutoring Program in 1997 and are still active in it. Their ministry has grown and developed to address the needs of the people they serve.
Byron is the Senior Pastor of New Beginnings Baptist Church, Diane leads a women’s Bible study and works in the SAY YES! Program.
