Sharon, an art therapist and marriage and family therapist (MFT), has counselled former street children and children rescued from sexual abuse and cyber-sex for over seven years. She will be moving to Brokenhead Ojibway Nation to join Dorothy Monkman, also a MFT, in serving the First Nations community by offering trauma therapy. They desire to help others heal from the coping responses to trauma that leave one vulnerable to re-abuse and oppression, and help families needing support or wanting to move toward reunification.
Sharon has a heart to see Brokenhead come to be a place true to its name, where the head of the serpent is crushed, that is, a place where people can come to recover, obtain freedom from bondages and addictions, receive inner healing, and be freed to live their God-given calling.
