Project 541 – Hartwig Ministry

Ron and Sharon have been serving with NAIM since 1990. Ron is the Executive Director of NAIM and together they minister locally in Merritt, BC, where they are thrilled to see God growing a small church. Serving alongside the First Nations Christians at the Nicola Valley Native Christian Fellowship, Sharon volunteers by leading worship, teaching Sunday School, and coordinating the women’s weekly Bible study. Ron preaches once a month as part of a team of lay preachers. Over the years, they have realized that God’s job for them through NAIM is to live side by side with First Nations people and to strengthen Native Christians for service and outreach to their families, reserves and communities. Ron and Sharon have four children: Renée (married to Steven Bauwens), Ryan (married to Ashley), Kenny (engaged to Esther Ko) and Caleb (married to Natasha).
