Jesse Alsbach grew up as a NAIM missionary kid in rural Saskatchewan, Canada. He spent
the first five years of his life living on Kinistin Saulteaux Nation, and then moved with his family
to a nearby acreage. Being homeschooled with his three siblings gave Jesse the opportunity
to be a part of his parents’ daily ministry, which emphasized youth and young adults. Because
his parents were also involved in NAIM’s summer program (SMI), some of Jesse’s summer
highlights were spending time with the SMI college students. Jesse has much love and
respect for First Nations, and also for his NAIM staff family. He anticipates being a part of
NAIM’s recruitment team along with continuing relationships on Kinistin and being open to
however God is directing him in NAIM.
